It's a new week, and I want to take a moment to let everyone -- especially my fellow American friends -- know that you are not alone. All of the things happening right now can be overwhelming, but remember that you are strong and can make a difference in your own and your loved ones' lives. You've survived 100% of the tough things thrown at you up until now. That's no small feat! So let's fight the good fight!

Now, onto a couple updates. Thanks to a wonderful suggestion, I've opened up a new Add-On item for those of you who have pledged. This add-on is a 10% off discount code for any future order from my online shop! It's a mere $5, and helps boost our funds a bit! Consider getting it if you want to give our campaign a little nudge.



Although we did lose a few pledges yesterday, I have decided to keep Casey unlocked. A statistic provided me from my fellow creators indicated that during this time frame, cancellations are perfectly normal, but we will get back up there towards the end of the campaign. So, please do not worry. We are still doing VERY well despite cancellations, and I'm looking forward to seeing Channelle unlocked as well! In the meantime, here's Casey hanging out with my cat, Chloe.



I do want to ask those who have been waiting to pledge due to paychecks, etc., to please go ahead and pledge without worry. You are not charged anything until the campaign ends, which is on February 13th. That being said, please ensure your payment method has the funds for your pledge.

Hello Softies!

I hesitate to update everyone because people are frequently changing their pledges or canceling them, but I have some good news which hopefully won't change... 

In all seriousness, it means the world that so many of you are sticking around. As the customer, you have every right to cancel or change your minds, but as a creator, I want to share the reality of how things work on (most of) our end.

When you back our projects, it means that your money will help us smoothly get you what you all want. Stretch goals and extra goodies are our way to show you how much we want to share our creations with you. Our projects run 120% on passion. This is something you don't get from big box stores or huge corporations.

It's completely understandable and expected that emergencies and changes of mind come up. But please try to avoid this, as large swaths of cancellations hurt us and create setbacks in our plans, especially when it comes time to produce our goodies.

I don't say any of this as a means to guilt-trip anyone to stay, by the way. Rather, I'm sharing this for transparency and understanding. The more understanding we all have, the less issues arise throughout our campaign.

Finally, we are less than $3,000 away now from unlocking Channelle and completing the entire Very Huggable Softies family. Do consider sharing this great news with your friends, and let's celebrate!

And before I forget... I have a VERY SPECIAL guest artist whom I'm sure many (if not all) of you know... and I'm working on something super special for them! Stay tuned...

Hello Softies!

Today is a very special day for a lot of Asian countries. From Buster, Cherry, Trixie, Casey, and Channelle, we all want to wish you a very Happy Lunar New Year!



The year of the Dragon has come and gone, and now, we're entering the year of the Snake! Snakes are not only intuitive, but also resilient and wise. Let's make this year as great as we can!

As for us, we've been fluctuating between unlocking Casey, and I wanted to take a moment to gently let everyone know that it means the world to us that you keep your pledge! We know, sometimes you'll change your mind, or you'll have second thoughts, but every cancellation hurts our campaign. We have to all work together to meet our funding goals. This applies to all other campaigns, too! Please don't pledge and then cancel without a second thought, because all of us creators are relying on you!

Now, with that being said, can we all rally together and unlock Casey and Channelle?! We only have two stretch goals, and we're not far off! Please be sure to share this project with your friends and family, and let's make it happen!

We hope this year brings many blessings, good fortune, and great health to you all. And we hope that even if some days don't go as planned, that you will continue pushing forward like the champ you are.

Holy whack-a-mole, we've surpassed the $10,000 mark and are well on our way to unlock Casey! I know A LOT of you love them, so here's hoping they get unlocked soon enough! Heck, maybe it'll be today! Casey sure hopes they can come home with you!



Today, I'd like to ask everyone what their favorite 90s food/drink item is. What brings you back, and what makes you go, "Ah, now that was the stuff!"? Be sure to check out our latest poll! I am gathering thoughts because if this campaign does very well, I will very likely be making a Series 2 of Very Huggable Softies. This is no secret, but I already have one design done! If you wanna know what it is, I'll give everyone a sneak peek once we unlock Channelle at $15k!

I woke up to the amazing news that Trixie is now unlocked! YAY!!! Now, only Casey and Channelle are left, and their stretch goals are $12,000 and $15,000, respectively. Let's keep the backer train going by telling your friends and family! We can do this!

This update also serves as a reminder that there are only 24 hours left to back for the Early Bird exclusive sticker sheet! In case you missed it, this is what I'm talking about!



As a reminder, all physical pledges made within the first 48 hours of my campaign's launch will receive the gummy soda sticker sheet by my friend Sayuupi! This is NOT the same sticker sheet as the one available as a pledge tier, which is illustrated by me. So, if you backed the sticker sheet tier within the first 48 hours, you will receive BOTH sticker sheets in your order. I hope this clarifies things!
